For doers and believers
Silicon Halli is organized during the summer season in Varberg, Sweden as part of Hallifornia. Hallifornia is a festival that wants to encourage the new coastal culture in southwestern Sweden and is based on a spirit of active participation, collaboration, sustainability, creativity and innovation.
In relation to the festival, Silicon Halli is looking for startups that can take on challenges in a more different environment. Since the festival environment is not the most traditional marketing place for a startup company, it is necessary to find a strategy (to test the product or service) that suits with the festival visitors. Therefore, the startups that attend to Silicon Halli need to think outside the box, have courage to experiment with their ideas and find marketing methods that they may not have considered useful in their development process before.
During the selections to Silicon Halli, following criteria are considered: 1) The sustainability of the idea, 2) how innovative the idea is and 3) how the idea can create an integration at the festival.
